The Organ Grinder is now open.

Our new Canning Circus pub 'The Organ Grinder' opened last night (24th June), and we'd like to give our sincere thanks to the hoards of eager drinkers who turned up to check out our handy work.  The pub was absolutely heaving all night and it was great to see so many familiar and not so familiar faces.

We have to admit to being a little bit surprised at just how many people came, and how thirsty they were!  We managed to get through almost all of the beer we had racked up for the weekend in a single night, so we were in very early on Saturday bringing in emergency supplies to keep everyone happy.

The feedback we received was incredibly positive, and it was lovely to be surrounded by so much good will!  That said, we knew we'd never get it 100% right at the first go, so we'll be listening to our customers over the coming weeks and tweaking things to get them spot on.   One comment that was made more than once was that the lighting was little bright - it's something we noticed too, and we'll be getting the electricians in next week to give us some control over it.  We were also very surprised at the popularity of the beer garden at the rear of the pub, so we've taken the decision to improve that further over the next few weeks and make the most of it.  Its already good, but I think we can do even better.

All in all though, an extremely successful night which was a credit to everyone in the team who worked so hard to pull it all together and to our wonderful customers without whom we'd be nothing.
